Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

SNT Safer neighborhood Team Barkingside held VAWG violence against women's and girls walk talk and do at Gants Hill with Cllr councilor representing Barkingside ward.

We have engaged with many residents and community,

VAWAG initiatives involve officers ‘buddying up’ with women from their communities to discuss their experiences, concerns and reflections.
